Membership

One of the most important things you will do in your lifetime is to make a commitment to your local church. If you choose to be a member at Woodcrest, you will be on track to being transformed into an authentic Christ-follower – more than just a person who believes in God. Your faith will influence everything from what you think to the decisions you make. In addition, you will become a partner in Woodcrest’s vision of developing fully devoted followers of Christ who connect lost people with God.

If you are a regular attender, we strongly encourage you to become a member, so you can receive the support you will need in this life-long adventure. Becoming an authentic follower of Christ will affect everything you do. Membership will make the difference.

The term "church membership" is not a biblical term. However, the concept definitely is biblical! Church membership is the mutual acceptance and commitment of the church body to the individual and the individual to the church body.

  Steps to Membership

• 1.) Attend Discovering Woodcrest Membership, a three-hour class, where you will learn more about the vision and values of Woodcrest and what it really means to connect with the church through membership.
• 2.) Complete a Membership Application and a Membership Interview. This is a very helpful and meaningful process where you will be able to share your faith story and connect with others who have experienced the membership process at Woodcrest.
