Categories of Membership and Requirements

Categories include being either a Member or a Fellowship Member.

  Requirements for being a Member:

1. A statement of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and evidence of a desire to live a consistent Christian life.
2. An understanding of basic Christian doctrine and belief.
3. A statement indicating agreement with the Statement of Faith and Covenant of Woodcrest Church.
4. An agreement to abide by Woodcrest Church’s policies on member discipline.
5. Profession of faith in Christ publicly through Believer’s baptism.

  Requirements for being a Fellowship Member:

1. A statement of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and evidence of a desire to live a consistent Christian life.
2. An understanding of basic Christian doctrine and belief.
3. A statement indicating consent to the Statement of Faith and Covenant of Woodcrest Church.
4. An agreement to abide by Woodcrest Church’s policies on member discipline.

  Membership Participation Distinctions:

1. A Member may vote on all matters to be determined by the congregation and may serve in any capacity in the ministry of Woodcrest Church.
2. Woodcrest Fellowship Members are restricted from voting on constitutional changes, calling pastors, and being officers of the church, but otherwise have all the rights and privileges granted to Members.
