MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers, is coming to Woodcrest in October! As a Christ-Centered, caring ministry for mothers of children from birth through kindergarten, MOPS is a fantastic way to connect with other women in Woodcrest Church and the surrounding community.

 

MOPS cares that all women...

 

• Have a safe place to be themselves.
• Grow to be all they can as a wife, mother, and friend.
• Know and experience God’s love.

 

In this high stress period of a mother’s life, she may feel inadequate, frightened, or lonely. Frequently these feelings go unresolved. MOPS is committed to meeting the needs of mothers by providing an atmosphere full of support and encouragement and promoting spiritual growth by helping each woman discover that Christ is relevant in her life!

Childcare IS provided, so MOPS is a great way for a mom to escape reality without the hassle of arranging childcare! Our children's program, MOPPETS, is designed specifically to provide a safe and stimulating environment for each child and to introduce them to the love of God.

 

MOPS kicked off Friday, October 10, and meets from 9:30-11:30 am in the Rock Room of Woodcrest Church. The following calendar provides the dates for our 2008-2009 MOPS year:
